If you're going on a ski holiday soon, you may wish to consider purchasing salopettes before you go - or at least well-fitting ski trousers. That's if you want to avoid what happened to one unfortunate skier in Colorado recently.
The unnamed man boarded a ski lift in Vail with his son, but the seat was not correctly lowered, causing the man to fall through the gap.
Luckily, his ski stayed on and prevented him from falling all the way - but his trousers unfortunately stayed trapped too and ended up around his ankles.
The poor man was suspended upside down for seven minutes - while gleeful tourists took photos of his bare behind and his son no doubt wished for the ground to swallow them up - before resort operators managed to rescue him.
As we were saying, salopettes may be a good idea - Dare2b make a variety of them, all with built-in braces.
