Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley has been spotted jogging in North London, presumably to tone up in time for the band's forthcoming reunion tour.

The 48-year-old was snapped by the Daily Mail in shorts, a baseball cap and a polar fleece as he ran along through woodland, but one onlooker didn't seem to think he was doing too well.

"He really seemed to struggle. At one stage it looked like he was just shuffling along," said an unnamed source.

Indeed, after running just over a mile, he headed to his car to drive back home.

Hadley may wish to invest in some more jogging gear if he aims to take up the hobby permanently - the general consensus is that runners should be underdressed to allow them to warm up, so he may have been too hot in his fleece.

A lightweight waterproof jacket like the Seastack from Regatta is water repellent but not too padded so could be ideal for such pursuits.
