• Walking shoes – Walking shoes from Grisport are a lightweight, comfortable and surprisingly durable option for lowland walking during spring and summer. In addition, Grisport walking shoes encompass many of the technologies that you’d expect to find on a decent hiking boot.
• 2-season boots – Lightweight walking boots or shoes for casual lowland walking on largely even terrain. They are flexible and comfortable on trails, but not substantial enough for rough terrain and provide little weather protection.
• 3-season boots – Midweight boots that provide the wearer with comfort over most terrains rough and smooth. They are suitable for use in standard weather conditions throughout most of the year. Tougher and more durable than 2-season boots, 3-season boots will stand up better during long walks.
• 4-season boots – Mid-heavy weight boots, they are very durable and will protect the feet from knocks and debris. 4-season boots have stiff soles and hard-wearing tread, offering fantastic stability over rough ground like rocks and scree. They offer substantial weather protection all year round.
