A Canadian man who skis and snowboards twice a week has told Canwest News Services about the new fashions in ski gear that he is increasingly seeing on the slopes.Adam Tittley said that ski fashions have gone "wild", with people dressing to impress in bright colours and prints.
He added that tight fitting clothes are definitely last season as people embrace looser snow pants and jackets.
However, Mr Tittley pointed out that comfort should not be sacrificed for current trends, nor should safety.
"The goal is to stay on the mountain as long as possible. You don't want to have to go to the chalet because you're cold or uncomfortable or something is riding up on you," he commented, adding that ski helmets are a must.
For those interested in looking bright while still wearing reputable ski gear, a package from Dare2B could be the answer.
The company makes a package for ladies which includes a bright pink ski jacket.
