People who enjoy walking among beautiful scenery should head to the Lincolnshire Wolds this May in order to take part in one of the UK's biggest walking events. The Wolds Walking Festival is to take place between May 16th and 31st and features 82 different walks, some themed for people with special interests.
For example, there are chocolate and ice cream routes, Dambusters trails, wildflower walks and ghost hunting walks.
Feargus Mack, spokesperson for Lincolnshire Tourism, told ThisisLincolnshire.co.uk: "This walking festival is the perfect opportunity to explore the area which is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty."
He added that the local landscape inspired Alfred Lord Tennyson so should be perfect for all kinds of people, from the advanced to beginners.
With any luck, the weather may be warmer in Lincolnshire by May, so the Craghoppers Kiwi long-sleeved shirt for ladies could be good to wear for the festival.
It has Solardry technology and the sleeves can be rolled up and held in place with the buttons.
