Adventurer and former commando Bear Grylls has been back on the wilderness trail in China. The youngest ever Briton to climb Mount Everest has taken his survival show Man Vs Wild to the extreme in the Middle Kingdom, spending time in the jungles of southern China's Hainan Island.
Grylls admitted that he did not expect the going in China to be so tough, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The self-proclaimed king of survival said: "It was definitely the hardest jungle I've ever experienced and I think this episode reflects this."
Grylls has made a name for himself by surviving in the most inhospitable environments, risking life and limb in treacherous forests, and icy wastelands.
In one of 52 episodes in the new Man Vs Wild series, Grylls had to endure the recent typhoon in Kestana.
