Cargo shorts and hiking shorts

For those of you who like to participate in outdoor activities in rough terrains and environments you may prefer our cargo short styles. Tough, durable and comfortable, cargo shorts are ideal for rough hiking, with a multitude of pockets and features so you can go prepared when you venture into the wild.

Active shorts

Perfect attire for cycling, running, mountain biking, or indeed any high intensity activity, active shorts are great for heavy exercise in warm weather. They are typically short in length with good flexibility and breathability.

We also sell technical cycling shorts with stretch fabrics. They are worn close to the skin, are lightweight, flexible and breathable. They are designed for total comfort while cycling.

Crop trousers

Very long shorts or short trousers? Either way, Trekwear stocks a range of cropped trousers for those who prefer longer length leg-wear. Sometimes it is just too warm for full trousers. Crops allow enough air flow and freedom of movement to give some of the key advantages of shorts without compromising the protection and comfort that trousers provide.

There is a lot of crossover between what shorts can be used for. For example, active shorts can be used for walking and hiking in warm conditions. However, they do not measure up when it comes to durability and storage compartments. On the other hand, hiking shorts can be used for more intense sports but do not demonstrate the same flexibility and breathability as active shorts.
